You might have noticed lately that I seem to have caught the interactive card "bug" (I know I'm soooo late to the party but hopefully I'm making up for it with my innovative ideas!).
Here's my card in action!!

Well today I wanted to combine a few techniques and (as you will see!) nothing makes these techniques easier than the Misti from My Sweet Petunia. It's amazing to think how this simple tool has revolutionalised stamping and I find my stamping is so much more relaxing as I make far less "mistakes" than I did pre-Misti!! Long-gone are my days of frustration and stamping things multiple times before I was happy with the image!!
For this card, I did some no-line Polychromo Pencil colouring and used a re-stamping and embossing technique (that honestly is a breeze using the Misti). I also added a slider element to increase the fun!
I started by stamping out the images from the Honey Bunny Boo set - I often keep my dies together as this allows me to lay the die down to position my stamps - using my Misti I can easily pick them up, stamp them and when it comes to die cutting them out - I can do them all at once - major time saver!
I stamped my images in Momento Potter's Clay (any light ink will work).
Now, don't be all organised and clean and put away your stamps!! - you are going to need them later to re-stamp the images, so make sure you leave them in the Misti for now!!

Next, I coloured in all my images with my Polychromo's.  I knew I wanted to use some Lawn Fawn Paper from the Perfectly Palid Rainbow 6x6 Pad so I tried to match my colouring to the colours in the paper.
Once finished, I gave my card a quick swish over with an anti static pad. I placed the card back in my Misti (remember my stamps are all still in place, so they are perfectly lined up thanks to the Misti!!).

I used a Versamark ink Pad to stamp again over the images and sprinkled with gold embossing powder and heat set. I went over their eyes and noses with a fine permanent black marker.
Then die-cut (and thanks to the wonders of the misti, they line up perfectly with the dies & can just all be run through in 1 go) Love, love, love it!!

Now for the assembly! I made a 'cloud' background piece using the mft mini cloud stencil. I cut a slider slot with my mft surf & Turf slider die set. I used 3D foam to attach this to another rectangIe of card, gluing the 'negative slider strip' back in place. I attached a piece of acetate for a slider strip and attached the bunny to it in the slider 'hole'.  I put pieces of 3D foam to act as 'stoppers' at the bottom. I used some polk-a-dot patterned paper for the grass, and popped up with 3D foam (make sure to leave a gap for the bunny to slide down through).

I attached the other images to the 'grass' area, again popping up with 3d foam (so there is room for the bunny to slide behind). I cut a frame from Kraft card with mft rectangle stitched stax dies and used 3D foam around the top & half-way-down the sides. As my base-card - I used a Kraft card, base with a rectangle of the plaid paper I had chosen.
I adhered the frame to my 'scene' rectangle and adhered this to the front of my card.  See below for close-ups of the image placement.

To stamp my sentiments I always, without fail, use my Mini Misti - it allows me to get the sentiment stamps straight and to get a perfectly stamped image. The image below was done on the first go! Honestly, this tool never fails to amaze me!
I trimmed and attached my sentiments. I also stamped out a slider tab with the Interactively yours stamp set and adhered to the top of the acetate strip. Such a cute Easter card and that surprise hopping Bunny is just the Cutest!

Thanks so much for joining me for the Misit/Heffy Doodle Stamps collab!
Here's the list for the hop - you only have a couple to go!!

Here is the list of the amazing blogs taking part:

Now to my card!
I decided that I wanted to use all the cute chick & accessory images from the Eggcellent News stamp set as there are so many and they tell a "little story" if you use them together! What better way to display them all than on a pop-up-box?

I used the Scalloped Pop-up-box Die from Lawn Fawn here, but you can search for templates on the net if you don't own a die, so it's not essential. I decorated the box with My Favorite things Itsy Bitsy Polka dots Pastels paper pad.  I stamped out the chicken, chick, nest, egg and pram images from the Eggcellent News set in MFT Extreme Black ink and coloured them with copics. I used the corresponding dies to cut out the images.
I also used the stand alone dies "congrats" and "baby" - I blended some Squeezed Lemonade and Cracked Pistachio inks onto white card and then cut both of the dies from this.  I stamped the 'welcome' word on white card, trimmed and backed with patterned paper.

I mounted all the images as shown on thin strips of acetate. I added some punched hearts and also tucked them in the convenient 'slits' that the dies cut in the mumma chicks wings. I used a cloud border die to decorate the inside panels. Adorable!!!

Thanks for joining the hop - don't forget to visit them all and leave a comment for you chance to win!
