“New” Craft Stash | Mega Blog Hop

Hello Crafters!

Thanks so much for joining us for this wonderful blog-hop (over 3 days) to encourage you all to get out your new, unused or rarely used stash and get creating!!

What a wonderful week of cardmaking I've had! I've been on holidays (from my "real" job) and just as well, as I've been having so much fun with multiple cardy projects!! It's been fun and this card was no exception.
Stay tuned at the end of my post to see the list of the other great projects - there will be random prize draws for commenters over the 3 days! (drawn on July 23rd)

I purchased the Altenew Bold Alphabet Die recently (after eyeing it off for ages - but it was an 'investment' price-wise so I saved-up!!) and hadn't had a chance to use it yet. There was one DT project that I loved by Agnieszka Malysek which was my inspiration for my card below:
It was quite a simple card, this is how to recreate it:
  • Die cut the letters you want from white card
  • stick the letters (right side up) to a piece of washi tape.
  • place the letters in a stamp positioner (if you choose)
  • Colour with copics (I used G21, G63, G85 for leaves and BV00, BV02, BV04 for the flowers)
  • Place on card (I used a t-ruler to keep level)
  • Place sentiment and stamp in versafine ink. I used a sentiment from the Build a Flower Carnation set.
  • Adhere letters with 3D foam

Hope you enjoyed the card and that it inspires you to use some of your "new" stash!

Please visit the other blogs below and enjoy their creations!!

I love your card. Great tip on stamping the letters! I thought you had stamped a full panel, then cut out the letters! Fantastic! I love this look so much, but don’t own a alphabet set like this. I think I need to invest! Thanks for sharing your creativity!

Very pretty card with that floral alpha! Easier to do than die-cutting a whole sheet and then putting the words together. Thanks for the idea.
