Day 2 of the new release peaks brings some very cool stamps and dies!The Mod Florals Stack & dies and Pattern Builder Stamps and Dies.
The Mod Florals is a fabulous set with the perfect balance of images and sentiments! I decided to go for a CAS design for this set and the images reminded me of butterfly wings so I created some modern butterflies with the images and sentiments!

The Mod Florals is a fabulous set with the perfect balance of images and sentiments! I decided to go for a CAS design for this set and the images reminded me of butterfly wings so I created some modern butterflies with the images and sentiments!
On a piece of white card, I used my misti to stamp each 'wing' 2 times - to ink up the stamp I used mini Distress Ink Cubes, inking a small section in one colour, tapping on the next colour and then the tips of the 'wings'. I then stamped the image and repeated so that the layers merged a little.
For the purple/blue butterflies I used: Lucky Clover, Wilted Violet and Salty Ocean.
I then stamped a sentiment down the middle to form the body of the butterfly.
For the red/orange card I used: Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade. I finished both cards with some enamel dots.
