Tonic Studios Garden Party Release - Blog Hop

Hello Crafters! Welcome along to my blog and the Tonic Studios Blog Hop for their gorgeous Garden Party Release! Not only do you get to see all the fabulous inspiration from the amazing hop contributors (see later in my post for the full list and a bonus discount code!) and there are prizes to be won!! I have an interactive card for you today so read on for details!

Don't forget - Tonic Studios is giving away a £25 gift voucher to every stop in the hop. Winners will be chosen from the comment section and announced on the Tonic Blog on Wednesday, August 13 – 2019.

When I saw the critter stamp sets I literally let out a little excited squeal! The clean lined images were such fun to colour and each stamp set in the release has a huge number of stamps to choose from! And....all those cute outfits - how would I ever choose? That gave me the idea for this interactive card - Using the acetate wheel, you can help Bunny choose her outfit for her party!!
Also check out my Instagram @alilovescardmaking for this card in action!

I began by stamping out all the images I wanted to use (some from Celebrate Life, Celebrate Friendship and Celebrate success).

I stamped an extra head for the bunny.  I coloured them using alcohol markers.
To create the background, I used a cloud stencil with my Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink and used some spotted paper for the 'grass'. I die cut an acetate wheel with a circle die and secured to the front of the card. I used 3-d foam around the edge to adhere the grass/patterned paper making sure that the wheel could move freely.

I adhered the bunny image to the front of the card behind the acetate wheel and used 3D foam to adhere the extra bunny head so that it overlapped the front of the acetate wheel a little. I then adhered the outfits to the front of the acetate wheel so that they lined up with the bunny body.

I adhered the cake and presents/balloons either side of the bunny so they prevented the outfits from showing each side. Turn the acetate wheel and you can choose bunny's outfit!! How adorable and fun is that??

I stamped and adhered the sentiments to the bottom of the card - white embossed on black cardstock. Hope you enjoyed my card and have fun on the rest of the hop!! Here it is......
