Hello Fetti Fans! We have hit Day 3 of the countdown and we have more inspiration for you today! The sets revealed today are Stained Glass Butterflies and Best Sentiments. I have done a little Traditional vs Modern take on this set - to give you an idea of how versatile it is! Let me know if you prefer the Traditional or the Modern take. Don't forget to comment on the blogs and/or Reverse Confetti Facebook page for a chance to win a voucher!
The first card is a more traditional Stained-glass window look - I used the Round Stitched Window Confetti Cut to cut a window in a white card panel. I stamped the images on a piece of watercolor paper in Versafine Black Ink and embossed them with clear embossing powder. I then used standard Crayola textas to colour sections of the image in bright colors and spritzed with water when finished. I was careful not to spray too much water otherwise the colors will merge over the embossing 'boundaries'. I positioned this panel behind the window piece using 3D foam. I adhered to a white cardbase and finished with sentiments from Sketched Florals.
The second card is a more modern take - I used Distress Oxide inks to create a 'smooched' background with Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch on water color paper. I then used the new Pointed Cover Panel to emboss this piece, trimmed and adhered to a white card base. I Stamped the butterfly as per the first card and colored the same, spritzing with water as before. I die-cut using the dies and adhered to the front of the card. I finished with a sentiment from Best Sentiments.
Hope you have enjoyed the projects by the Team so far! Here's the new release goodies I used:
