Here's all the details for my project - it was such fun to play with these products and I would like to say a huge thank you to Mama Elephant for inviting me to join in the hop and for gifting me some of the products used! I've used the Hot Cocoa Stamp and die Sets and the Happy Holly Days stamp set to create these cute little gift pillow boxes. I always give something little to coworkers at Christmas and these adorable pillow boxes are perfect for small gifts (chocolates, coffee giftcards, handmade treat etc). The Hot Cocoa set has an added bonus in that it has images and sentiments that can be used for occasions other than Christmas too!
To make these little treasures I quickly googled for a free Pillow Box Template and found this one at www.homemade-gifts-made-easy.com - but there are heaps out there with different dimensions/sizes so you can find one that suits your needs! I traced the template and hand cut 3 of them out of Kraft cardstock. I then placed them in my Misti Stamping tool (or the mini here for Aussie Shoppers) and Stamped them with the Happy Holly Days image in Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink.(Here for Aussie Shoppers)
I then stamped out my images in Copic friendly ink (I like Ink On 3 Blackout Ink) and coloured them with Copic Markers.
Aqua greens:BG49, BG23, BG45, BG11
Reds:R59, R27, R46, R35, R20
Other: E25, E23, E33, C7, C5, C3, C1, C00
I added Detail with a Posca Fine White Pen
I die cut my cute images with the corresponding dies. I constructed the boxes and added some twine and red ribbon to match. I adhered my images to the front of each pillow box and adhered some small diamontes.
They really have a modern Christmas feel to them and were such fun to colour and create! Hope you enjoyed this project and the other wonderful ideas from the Guest Designers!

Thank you for celebrating with us!

Don't forget the ME 3 day sale + free gifts!
