Countdown to Confetti Day 1

Hello Fetti Fans! It's countdown to confetti time - 3 days of previews and then an New Release Blog Hop on release day! Today were are showing you the Multi-step Cacti, This Says it All and the Background Builder. I've also used the Cross Tiles Cover Plate Die and the Three Tags Dies Confetti Cuts Dies on my projects today. Read on for the details and for the Countdown line up - lots more inspo for you! For the For A Fabulous Friend card, I began by embossing the coverplate (using an embossing mat) on white cardstock. I trimmed to size and adhered to a Kraft cardbase. I Stamped out the cacti from the Multi-step Cacti stamp set. Really enjoyed playing with the possibiities of this set - you can use the outlines alone and color them, or use the layering stamps for some super effects - or all together. Lots of versatility in this set! I used my Distress Ink Mini Ink pads (Worn Lipstick, Candied apple for the flowers, Old Paper, Bundled Sage, Mowed Lawn and Forest Moss for the cacti).

I die cut and fussy cut the images and then stamped a sentiment from the This Says It All set and white embossed it on Kraft card for the sentiment strip. I adhered the images and sentiment as shown.

For the Hugs and Smiles card I stamped the Images from the Background Builder stamp set in the same distress Ink colours on a white cardbase and a kraft strip. I adhered these to a Kraft cardbase along with a strip of patterned paper from the From Cupid paper pad.

I stamped sentiments from the This Says It All stamp set on Kraft card tags cut from the Three Tags Die set and white embossed them. I attached with a bow of twine.

The new release is such a versatile one and hope you enjoy the lead up to the big day!
