Now to my Projects!  First up are two sweet bookmarks.

The products (and some affiliate links) are:

Heffy Doodle Mark My Words Dies

Clearly Besotted Bookworm Stamp Set

Clearly Besotted Woodgrain Stamp

Distress Oxide Inks & Copics (affiliate link)

Heffy Doodle Stamps Mini Essentials Dies

Glossy Accents (affiliate link)

To begin this project, I used my HDS Mark My Words Dies to cut two bookmarks from Kraft Cardstock. I stamped them with Distress Oxide Ink in Ground Expresso using the CB Woodgrain Stamp. I cut some pieces to fit on the bookmarks in Kraft card to neaten the top of them as shown.
I stamped the images from CB Bookworm stamp set with copic friendly black ink and colored them with my Copics. I stamped extra book images and fussy cut two books to place separately on my bookmarks (I used a White Posca pen to eliminate the lines I didn't want around the book image before fussy cutting). I cut two flag sentiment strips from black cardstock using the HDS Mini essentials dies.  I then stamped two of the sentiments from the Bookworm set on these strips and white embossed them. I adhered the images to the front of the bookmarks and attached the sentiments with ribbon and a twine bow. To finish - I used Glossy Accents for the glasses and set aside to fully dry overnight.

My second project is a super cute interactive card using:

Heffy doodle Slimline Pull Tab Dies

Heffy Doodle Stamps Cloudy Skies Stenci

Stitched Slopey Joes Border Dies

Heffy Doodle Stitched Alphabetters Dies

Heffy Doodle Stamps Swirly Clouds Dies

Heffy Doodle Stamps Elephant of Surprise Stamp Set (balloon)

Quill you be mine (large party hat)

A Little Shellfish (small party hat

Classic Sentiments Stamp Set

More Classic Sentiments Stamp Set

Clearly Besotted Got Your Back Stamp Set

Distress Oxide Inks (affiliate link)

To begin this card, I created a background sky using Distress Oxide Inks (tumbled Glass and Speckled Egg) and the HDS Cloudy Skies Stencil. I trimmed this piece to fit the front of a cardbase. I die cut some Kraft cardstock with the HDS border dies (and trimmed to fit at the bottom of the sky piece) and some white clouds with the HDS Swirly Clouds dies.  I stamped the images from CB Got Your Back Stamp set in copic friendly black ink and coloured them with Copics, fussy cutting them with small scissors. Once all my pieces were ready, I positioned them to see where I needed to place my channel for the Meerkat to pop his little head up from behind the rock (I did not adhere any pieces down at this stage).

Once I was happy with the placement, I took the channel die from the pull tab die set and positioned it on the cloud piece (approx where the meerkat needed to slide up & down) and ran it through my die cutting machine. I cut a top notch using the die set in the sky piece as well. I cut the tab and pieces for the top of the tab. I positioned the tab through the channel in the sky piece and placed adhesive on the back (without obstructing the movement of the tab) and adhered to a kraft cardbase. I attached the meerkat to the tab piece (you may need to trim the tab so it doesn't show behind the image). I adhered the first kraft 'sand' piece with 3D foam - this raises them away from the background piece so that the meertkat can slide up and down freely behind it. Just make sure not to put foam where it will get in the way of the meerkat movement. I then adhered the other sand piece as shown.

I adhered the rock image while the meerkat was in the lowest position, to make sure he was hidden when the tab was down. I adhered the other meerkat images and the balloons (positioning the balloons so that it created the illusion of one meerkat holding two balloons but in fact the little one that pops up has the second balloon!).  I used the alphabet dies to cut the 'look out' words from coloured cardstock and then used the sentiment stamp sets to customise the 'it's your birthday' sentiment strip which I white embossed on black cardstock. Hope you enjoyed my two projects and that you have fun hopping along!
