Countdown to Confetti Day 3

Hello Fetti Fans! Welcome back to Day 3 of Countdown to Confetti where we are showing you the New Release ahead of the official release day tomorrow! Today we have two very cute critter sets - The Bear Up There and Punny Party. Both are adorable sets and I have paired them with the Celebrate Tag, Happy die & Happy Coordinates, the freebie Hooray Stamp Set and the Letter Cuts. My affiliate link is here. My tags are first up with some colourful galaxy backgrounds!

I started the tags by using my Distress Inks and Distress Oxide inks to cover some white cardstock and flick with white Gesso and water droplets to create my Galaxy background. I have a couple of video's up on my youtube channel on how I create my Galaxy Backgrounds (here). When dry, I die-cut two tags from the background piece.

I stamped and coloured the images with copics and die cut them. I cut some silver stars from glitter paper with a punch and generic shape dies to adhere on the stars in the images as shown (I carefully cut around the bear on the clouds paws so I could tuck the glitter star behind them so he looked like he was holding it).

I die cut the Happy 'shadow' in silver cardstock and the individual letters in black cardstock, splattering them with white gesso. When dry, I adhered them to the silver shadow piece. I stamped the sentiment on black cardstock strips and white embossed them. I adhered all to the tags as shown and finished with some silver ribbon and little navy ribbon bows.

Here are the new release products I used:

For my second card, I used the cute elephants from the Punny Party set, stamping and colouring them with C Copics. I created the background with Distress Oxide Inks and the smooching technique with acetate on watercolour cardstock. I used Squeezed Lemonade, Kitsch Flamingo and Peacock Feathers ink colours.

I die cut pink and black letters using the Letter Cuts dies to spell hooray (leaving out an 'o' as the elephant balloon would form the missing 'o' when adhered in place). I adhered the black letters behind the pink letters so that the word would stand out on the cardfront. I positioned the letters and elephants on the watercoloured background piece as shown and adhered them in place.

I stamped the 'so happy for you' sentiment from the freebie Hooray set on white cardstock and white embossed it.  I adhered this to the watercolour piece too and then all to a white cardbase.
