Now to my project!

I have made some wonderful bookmarks using the Mark My Words Bookmark Dies & the More Classic Sentiment Stamps from Heffy Doodle and the Boho Feathers Bundle from Catherine Pooler Designs. I also used the gorgeous colours of CP inks in Fiesta Blue and Serenade.
To start, I cut 3 bookmark bases with the die from white cardstock and splattered then with the CPD inks. I also added some black paint splatters.

I then stamped the feathers using multiple layers of the beautiful ink colours. To do this, I placed the cardstock and stamps in my Misti stamping tool. I dabbed the ink onto the stamps using the edges of the ink pads - I first inked Serenade down the centre of the feathers and stamped multiple times. I then cleaned off the stamp without moving it and used the Fiesta Blue on the edges, again stamping multiple times. I then went back and forward between the ink colours to ensure good coverage and nice blending of the colours. When dry, I die cut the images and adhered to the bookmarks. I Stamped the sentiments on black cardstock and white embossed them, cutting into small sentiment strips to adhere to the bookmarks as shown.
I finished the bookmarks with some fluffy wool in matching tones.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Here's the full hop for you to enjoy.
Don't forget to comment at each stop to be in the running to win!
Ali xx

Wow! The color choices are amazing! So crisp and vivid! Feathers are so versatile aren't they? I think they can be used to share so many different emotions and/or thoughts or simply just "be". Thank you for sharing!
