Hi Heffydoodlers!! Welcome to my blog and the second Hop for the new release! Hope you have been enjoying the release and you have been sharing and tagging your creations! I have this cute monkey card for you today! Pop on over to my insta to see a little video of him in action! I started this card by creating the background. I brushed Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron onto a piece of white card through the UnbeLEAFable stencil. I then used the Fancy Nancy Frames Die to create an appeture. I coloured some card with the same inks and cut out some of the Amazonian Leaves using the Die and adhered them behind the appeture. I stamped and coloured the monkey with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and die cut him. I created some clouds on the base card (just behind the appeture) using the Cloudy Skys Stencil.
I used a simple 'swing' mechanism to create the movement of the monkey. There is a video on my channel showing this mechanism (I've just flipped the mechanism up the other way in this card). I attached the monkey to this mechanism, and adhered the front piece with leaves over the top with 3D foam. I created a leaf pull piece and attached to the end of the pull-tab.
