Reverse Confetti New Release Blog Hop

Hello Fetti Fans! It's here - release day and the Reverse Confetti release Blog Hop! I have an interactive card for you today and wanted to show that interactive cards don't have to be elaborate!  This one involves a simple mechanism and is soooo cute! I've used the little frog and mouse from the Cheerful Pals set.  I also had a bit of a brain-wave and thought of using the Stitched Scallops Cover Panel upside down and in landscape orientation (read on to see how to do this).
The little frog thinks you're awesome........
and if you pull the tab, he holds up a sign "Be YOUtiful"!! Arrrgh so cute! If you head to my Insta there is a short video of this card in action!
I began this card by creating the background. You can do this with almost any portrait orientated die. Start by positioning your die plate over your card - a little over half-way across your card (card is landscape, plate is portrait). Run it through your die cutting machine, but don't place your top plate to the edge of the die (see below) this way, it won't cut the 'edge'. Run this through your machine and then position the die over the other half of the card so that the pattern lines up (this is quite easy to feel as part of it 'fits' into the pattern you have already done). Position you top plate again as shown below and run through your machine.
Using this piece 'upside down' looks like frog jump/hop lines - awwww!
Your element will be a spare stamped froggy arm and the flag, with a card strip and brad attached as shown below. the brad closest to the flag will go through the arm and the background piece. the other brad is just through the arm and the 'pull-tab'. See below.
Cut a section of kraft card for the hill and position on your card to judge where to place you interactive element. Mark a hole in your background piece and poke your 'arm' brad through.
place 3D foam along each side of the pull-tab - make sure it doesn't get in the way of the movement or elements.
Place 3D foam on the back of the hill piece and adhere over the movement. Colour the flag and arm with copics.
Once you have done this, you just need to stamp, die-cut and colour the frog and mouse (cutting the frogs left arm off). Position them on the hill as shown and stamp and emboss the sentiment strip. I finished mine with some hearts from the Hearts confetti cuts. Trim the pull-tab and add a half-circle with pull guide stamp.

Just be sure to position the frog so that when the tab pull his arm up, it appears in the right 'place'!
Make sure you check out the other team projects!

Thanks for joining me and stop by again soon!
